    Before watching the series, most people would thinkg guy with dog and female with cat (this is the typical stereotype). But I guess TVB wanted to change things up so they swtich the animals.

    the guy gives the girl the cat, and she learns the way of the cat. the girl give the guy the dog because her father dont like stray dog because of an event in the past. so its really Guy with dog. Girl with cat
