The 1st 5 tracks was good in my opinion; cosidering the melody & the singing all together. I was actually expecting a bit more or better tunes, but it turns out to be not as good as his older albums. I am quite disppoint about this :(
There have been negative reports regarding Jay and Fei Yu Qin's duet, some say its a 'disaster in duet history' cause the two voice doesnt seems to bring out the feeling of the song BUT to me, it's a great try out for Jay and it brings a new feeling to his fans and to his listeners around.
i think it's a little different from his earlier albums. there were a couple songs that sounded like his old stuff, but i didn't appreciate them as much because they were ordinary. i guess this album wasn't as catchy, but I really give jay props for trying different stuff and collaborating with different ppl.
of all the albums jay's come out with i think this is the worst. most of the songs on the still fantasy album sound so much like his old songs. this is disappointing, but then again it's my opinion.
i like the album... it was cool... jay rocks!! wooo... ahahhaha yea I thought this was pretty decent... it was smooth.. something you can just chill n listen to.. a lot of the tracks seemed to just blend together... there wasn't like one or two songs that was espesh. good and stood out like his other albums..
ive never really been a fan of jay chou.... but i was kind enough to give him anoither chance with this album and it BLEW me away i love it!!! I definately think its awesome
For this new album, there are a few songs that are of my interest [track 1,2,3,4,7,8] His MV is not bad too
my favourite song is probably 千里之外 and 本草綱目 ...the album is good in general but really nothing different.....there one thing in 本草綱目 that bugs me but iono if anyone else caught it.... 本草綱目 has nothing to do with 華佗....anybody who has watched the TVB series would know that.....but in the song 華佗's name pops up in the first line...... hehe....
after i watched the mv for track 3 and i loved the song after that! i really like the other guy's voice. he has such a nice voice ^---^ and the music video was soo good >__<~ when my roommate watched it, she said it touched her heart and she just wanted to keep watching it over and over ^---^
i'm quiet happy with this album... but i must say i liked his last album better... the first track of his last album made me cry
