Jet Li & Jason Statham "Rouge" (2007)

Boring lar, why everytime jet li in movies must have lots of chinese people around. Have yet to see a nice movie from him

 

i think he meant no more ancient martial arts film. His older movies were good but the recent ones lacked a good story besides "fearless"

 

I much prefer Jet Li in his chinese films - Legend of Fong Sai-Yuk has always been my favourite Jet Li film, and has one my favourite bits of choreography in it - the bit where he fights the princesses mother, and their feet aren't allowed to touch the ground.

I was disappointed with Unleashed and Fearless to be honest. Hopefully this will be good.

 

Jet is currently shooting a martial arts movie with Andy Lau and Takeshi Kaneshiro called Ci Ma (Blood Brothers). Its a remake of an old school Shaw brothers kung fu film. I actually more excited about this movie than Rogue. His chinese films are always better.

 

lol righ... something along those lines... I heard they also making the venoms remake... SB brining it back new school...

I thought he announced that Fearless was his last movie?

Gotta love jet li in evil roles, I loved him as the bad guy in LW4, and The One

 

i saw this picture like 2 years ago... hes been filming for a while

I thought so too. I guess it's a marketing tactic.

 

Wernt the two of them together in 'The One'?? That was an alright movie. Lets hope we get a better movie out of the duo this time

 

thnk god fearless wasn't his last movie, it would have been a waste to see that much talent go to waste.

Jet Li has never been too clear about what he is talking about...what he said about not doing any martial arts films means that he will not do any more ancient timeline movies such as Hero and House of Flying Daggers. I personally thing that he will take back his words, because alot of his personal friends (directors/producers) are asking him to do a few more. Oh and the one he is doing now "Blood Brothers" is not a martial arts film, it is a John Woo triad remake.

 

Apparently the title of the movie has been changed to "War"

and is set to release: 14 September 2007 (USA)....
