I tried Korean food for the first time in Flushing last week, it didn't taste so great..maybe because it was the place that we went to, I din't know, I didn't enjoy my meal all that much.
Hehe i actually enjoy eating korean sushi more than japanese sushi sometimes cos it's got more flavour to it, so i dont have to dip it in soy sauce hehe~ but anyway, cold korean noodles and bibimbab are really yummy! I only really eat hot food (as in spicy) only when it's korean to be honest lol ^.^
I have tried a few korean dishes and want to try more. Any recommendations?? So far, I have had kimchi, fried fish, tofu, and korean bbq like beef and pork. I know there are other varities.
I can never eat kimchee by itself with rice. When I'm eating Korean food, I need to stuff at least 3 dishes in my mouth. Korean food tastes better mixed together in your mouth. From my experiences, each dish by itself is either too salty or too plain.
Hmm...never tried authentic korean food before. The only thing I've tried is Kimchi...and I like it!!
yes i love korean food.. heheh partly maybe cos my korean flatmate cooks me the best stuff there is.. ehhe
hehehe jealous? flat with ppl who can cook ehhehe oh.. but i have a taiwanese flatmate who cant cook.. but she has a very very good bible.. (cook book) ehhehe so its quite ok
i remember eating a korean dish.. its rice with purple beans of some sort.. and you have a bowl of soup to eat with it...whats the dish called? it was DAMN good...
ok maybe not purple beans but there was beans, and the rice overall looks purplely.. it was good nonetheless
