hm...the front of the new lancer look like a mashed up skyline+intregra .....but...wow...the new honda civic looks hot....hotter than the lancer in fact
The front spoiler of the new Lancer Evo is a huge cut-away. But the flank and the rear side looks great, except the rear spoiler and the exhaust pipe... The Subaru Impreza WRX STi and the Honda Civic Mugen are better in the looks.
lol, u guys r comparing a civic to a EVo? U guys must be from another planet, lol. A civic cant even touch an EVo with its mod; even with an big ass intake or a turbocharger. based on speed, an evo can already kill the civc. Dont get me wrong tho, i luv the civic too; however, only from the 1996s to 2000s. I dont like the presently civics because its looks r retarded. I understand if u guys compared a G37, or a 2007 Audi A8. This A8 is built to compare with the Benz and BMW series. But a civic with an EVo, c'mon guys, we all should kno better....
i think the Civic type R should go up agianst the RSXs. But again, i think the RSXs will smoke the auto-world outta the type Rs, lol
Omg, it looks exactly like the friggin' lancers I've seen on the street. I was hoping it wouldn't look similar to those lancers...........
civics modded correctly could be faster than a evo. have u seen that vid on the fearless car thread where the ek civic type r turbo beats a m6? i also have a friend that has a ls-vtec turbo that runs low 11's vid is on page 23, post #453
But at the end of the day, m6 and cars a like will still walk over civics due to their top speed limits. heh
Actually i sorta agree with the both of u. But in money wise, i can guarantees the civic beat the EVo and maybe the bmw series. U see, u could put about 12k of modding on the 2000 civic Si and it could be jsut as fast as those cars. A 2000 civic probably cost less than 6k. But based on specs, a civic is no match for the others. Na, i miss the video, ill watch it soon as i get home. But may i ask u something, is the m6 modded also? I could proabably predict it's stock.
i've driven my friend's older evo, and it had 300hp to the wheels. that thing was crazy fast and so much fun. i bet this new one should be a blast to drive as well.
regardless stock or not, that m6 got owned..... i think its stock though. with the amount of money that i can buy a m6, i can put that money in a civic and it won't be street legal anymore
yea in terms of speed, a modded civic can or maybe own pretty much the stock evos, bmw series, silvas, etc. However, speed isnt always the thing. Power steering, and heel and toe downshifting is also another thing. A s14 can pretty much put the civic back to my garage, regardless the mod. However, this is only in terms of my drifting theories. so if a modded civic were to race in a mountain full of mountain curves, i doubt it could beat the cars with hard power steers. I've been pretty much trying to drift my stock 2000 civic si with power steering and down shifting, but i suk on doing so, lol. I almost lost traction and flipped, lol. i was downshifting around one corner going about 40 mph.
