I'm gettin my ass torn apart by the final boss in Dragon Age. I'll give to give it another try tonight or something. Game is fun as hell when you're a mage.
lol i bet playing as a mage is pretty hard with friendly fire on and using all those damn aoe attacks but i had a easy time with a assassin/duelist rogue and a support mage with mass paralysis and other spells that benefit my melee and tanks also way less messy than using the final fire/blizzard spells.
There's a bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad. You can do some pretty slick things with the hold and pause features. One of my favorite tricks is to hold my mages back while I use a tank to lure the bad guys to a choke point. Before tank gets back, I'll have the mage pre-cast blizzard then follow up with tempest and earthquake and watch them drop dead.
got it on pc right? too bad its very hard to micro manage on consoles. they should've brought back the kotor commands where you can choose pre select several moves for the characters to use instead of the mana draining tactics system.
I get trophies cause it looks good.. platinum baby.. and pretty much lets me kno that I beaten the game 100%.. is there any point in achievements tho? cause all it seems like is that you get points which have no use..
i was always wondering how would you differentiate the points from each other like if you got every achievement for the game vs you just get the easiest achievement points. would they stack up to look the same? With platinum trophies you can tell someone got 100% for that certain game.
cept at least in mario, you get Gold coins!! yea I don't even kno.. just gotta check out their gamer tag man.. freakin' gamer card dude.. whoa 200,000 achievement points man.. totally hardcore man.. lol one thing I do like those is you can rate the person.. so if you're a dick online.. give 'em 1 star.. lol damn.. speaking of xbox live.. 1st or 2nd time I ever played on cod: waw.. some lil kid sent me a drawing of a stick figure penis.. gold coins.. at least its something you collect.. lol and the point system for the live market.. I think they did that just to confuse people.. they might not how much something is worth in dollars so they just keep spending..
Picked up GT5 Prologue and the Logitech Driving Force GT wheel for $80USD. Good wheel, makes playing driving games so much better. I'm looking forward to GT5.
