The Mission, good movie but i like exiled better....and also the detective with aaron kwok or something, movie's mostly boring and the twist was stupid...
Tess' of the d'Urbervilles Its a movie based on a book and we watched in English class. Not that special considering it was a TV movie, but it was interesting to see the how the directors perceptions differed from mine. The book itself leaves you to judge most of the actions and characters yourself.
i just watched white chicks again...its stillllll funny omg...even if id watch it like 10 times id still laugh my ass off....hahahaha dude im so scared of this guy!!!
Golden Compass It is without any arguments the worst movie I have ever seen in a while. The plot was confusing REALLY CONFUSING! You'll find yourself following one thing and then something new happens and you don't even know how and why. And action? Non existent in this movie. Its 2 hrs of talking, confusion, frustration and WTF moments. The biggest WTF moment is the ending. The fucking ending.... I was in disbelief at first and thought it wasn't really the end, but it was. Omfg and it wasn't just me! Everyone in the theater was like WTF is this. The only good thing about this movie is that I got a free movie pass out of it, since it stopped half through because of technical difficulties. And I was clapping when it suddenly stopped to lol. Only one in the theater clapping lmao. Horrible movie. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! LOSE A LIMB IF YOU HAVE TO! AS LONG AS YOU DON'T SEE THIS MOVIE!
contract lover....richie ren's accent is soo annoying...funny parts but overall corny ass movie but fan bing bing was cute...
i saw the golden compass. it was really good but i thought it was kind of a slow start. other than that it was great!!!!!
The only good scene that didn't suck was the polar bear fight. Where the bear just ripped a whole piece of flesh off the other bear and choked him by biting his neck. Other than that I wish that I would've never watched the movie.
rush hour 3...plot?....what plot?.....really bad ending to a series, should of stuck to being in new york. and the racial slurs, some of them were too over the top.
shit... would you all have it.... my dad decided to go watch a movie, and my mum was to choose.... get what she chose to watch...... enchanted lol so we went, the theater was filled with hot chicks, while my brother, and myself sat with my folks and my older cousin.. anyways, as much as i hate to say it, the movie was jokes lol
The "brothers" movie with andy lau and eason chan and such...it was alright not as good as i expected it to be, felix wong was cool though, never seen him in a movie aside from just tvb series. andy lau and lam ka tung reminded me soo much of internal affairs lol... good acting but i didn't really like the plot that much.
Okay, so that's what someone who didn't read the book would say... Me = a fan of the books, and I can tell you the film was a disgrace to the book. Retarded voice narration in the beginning, it pretty much made the entire film redundant in terms of mysteries. The choice of scenes are puzzling at best, and the way they adapted the book, the place they decided to end the film, all very disappointing. I was expecting great things from such an awesome book, but guess New Line just don't know how to make good films anymore. However, not EVERYTHING in the film was bad. The cast was AWESOME, Dakota Blue Richards is one of the best newcomer child/pre-teen star I have seen in a while. Here's my review of the film:
Naw, I have anticipated for this film for so long... I am ALREADY suckered in seeing all 3 installments of it, if they are going to happen... I heard really good things about Enchanted though... And oh, Breakfast with Scot (Canadian film) was kind of cute and heart-warming, but not really guy-friendly
^ lol canadian films are weird.. the only awesome canadian film ive seen is Bon Cop Bad Cop lol sooo jokess
I'm sure the books would've been better, but the film was all over the place. One thing happened and another thing happened for some reason unknown to me.... But I agree that the cast was great. Solid acting all around. To bad acting alone couldn't save it :\ And I think I'm going to read these books. I've read many reviews of this movie saying that the film does not do the book justice at all and the book itself sounds pretty interesting.
ok now that i finally decided to dl movies i watched heartbreak kid last night which was a lil bit boring imo and the 2nd part of death note.... death note overall (1+2) pretty good....
