yeah i liked rendition a lot cuz its shows some negative things about american laws....and is not like every other movie where all the non americans are the bad guys.... sucha good movie...i felt very sorry for reese's hubby too....man...i can so see americans do that kinda thing tho... just outta frustration..need someone to blame and make sucha decision the kingdome was sooo exciting throughout the whole movie....dude...jennifer garner was so good...fighting that guy... woot wooot...jennifer garner ftw in this movie!

watched "alien resurrection' lol got it from the library, iv seen it before, but i forgot how whacked out it was.
lol talking about aliens...just watched avp: requiem, and it was pretty much crap...lame movie imo.....they messed up a franchise. this one was just as bad as the first one, i might say even worst cause it was insanely boring and the storyline was gay.
i liked the first AVP.. the second one was so badly done though... everything was so dark, i had no idea wtf was going on for like 3/4 of the movie
lol i agree with the darkness....i had to max out the brightness+contrast on my monitor and i still can barely see anything....and all the action scenes are fucking dark as hell..
ye there seem to like this new darkness in the movies, it supposedly is there to enhance the scenes but i just get annoyed by them cos sometimes its so dark u can hardly see anything.
ive watched painted veil & reign over me a few weeks ago... both the movies were pretty good...a bit different from usual....and not commercial... i was pretty surprised with adam sandlers acting in "reign over me".... not being the funny guy he is... it was about a guy whos family died when the planes were hijacked and crashed into the twin towers the movie was a little bit depressing... actually both the movies were depressing...the other movie "painted veil" starred edward norton and the girl from king kong (forgot her name lol) and was about cholera in china =/
Woooo I just came back from watching The Forbidden Kingdom. I'll give my take on the movie, without trying to spoil the movie. So if you don't me to spoil it for you, this is a warning. Last warning Well, I'll say, this was a pretty entertaining movie. As much as I am a vivid kung fu fanboy, entertaining is all it gets. And there's several reasons for that. For one thing, it would be sooo much cooler had this been in chinese. It's so odd to see the JJ duo (Jackie Chan and Jet Li) to be performing a Chinese based story, in english. That's just weird for me. Being an asian kid, the plot didn't really appeal to me. This is a white kung fu fanboy's sexiest wet dream. You get bullied, you get hurt and go unconscious, go through an amazing adventure, and come back with martial powers, and kick some bully ass. Sweet. Not. I guess im expecting too much, as this is obviously directed to the Caucasian general audience. That's why there's no making out in the movie :(. Lastly, I guess another pet peeve is the fact that this kid can kick more ass in a few days than I could in a decade. I took Taekwon-Do for 10 years, after hard struggling, whereas this guy learns kung fu in a matter of days. Heh... I have to remember.. this is just a movie.. lol Anyways, enough of my babbling, on to the good part. That Jet Li and Jackie Chan fight was epic. When Jackie Chan pulled his drunken fist shit, oh my God, I was crapping bricks. For some reason, I was FULLY expecting Jet Li to pull his Wong Fei Hung style hands but alas no :(. But its ok, it was an epic fight. The props were sick. The swords were really nicely designed, although unrealistic. They definitely had a Final Fantasy feel to the design... And last but DEFINITELY not least, the women. Damn. They are hot. lol Lui Yifei at the end of the movie, HOT DAYUM. And Li Bing Bing with white hair.. stunning too. Too bad both................................. SPOILER AHEAD......................... died. Check out Lui Yifei: Aside from JJ at the right, Li Bing Bing: (who would have thought this innocent looking lady would play a witch....) They all need to work on their english lol Anyways, good watch. I definitely enjoyed it.
liu yifei makes my ballsack tremble with desire... cant wait to see this movie, i dont care for the caucasian oriented 'karate kid' plot, but id pay 10 bucks just to see JC and JL duke it out.
saw the forbidden kingdom friday night. the fighting sceens were cool. plot wise......didn't like it too much.
