I remember doing that back in the good ol' days... The most I've see was like... 5, I was stuck in the cinema from morning (they have screening starting at 11-ish) til the very last screening. I was braindead by the time I quit the cinema -sweat Now I just don't have enough time in a single day to sit through more than one film >.<
I've never really done more than 2 but i think i can do 3, but damn how you guys get to 4-5!, must've had a lot of time lol. my ass would've been numb and i would be dizzy from staring at the screen for so long lmao. And oh yea you guys ever got caught? lol one of my friends got caught like a couple times, i never got caught yet though hehe...
Never got caught, but it doesn't stop me from worrying Oddly enough, I just notice I usually do the craziest things alone... Sitting through 5 films was quite a feat. Though I must agree that I had way too much time on my hands back then. Now I just have to compensate the lack of time by paying for every single one of them >.< I remember doing themed film marathons at home... Those were the best, since you can pause them -tongue2
^ you'll get caught one day if you continue to sneak into like 4 films lol that's like almost half a day right there missy...-whistle @hiake lol marathons, never really did the themed things but watching a series of film, done that haha. And i never went to the theater alone lol, have to try doing that one day if i want to see a film bad cause everyone is usually busy...Sneaking in is fun lol, you get the "i got away with it once again" feeling and you save money lol, only thing you sacrifice is your eyesight and time lol.
yeah I don't think I've ever gone to see a movie alone before although I think going alone makes your chances of getting caught very low
You have got to appreciate how Nightmare on Elm Street deteriorate in terms of plot -tongue2 And I can be very picky about with whom I see a film, I get REALLY annoyed if the person isn't paying attention to the film and got those "It's okay" comments after the film (without elaborating). I guess in general I am just not into the whole "My brain shuts down when I go to the cinema" type.
^Does Nightmare even haf a 'plot'? Nightmare series are all about scares and more scares.. I think the best was the first and second.
They don't, that's the problem, beyond the first few installment, it became SO predictable and expected that it wasn't even scary >.<
It was a good movie IMO. I guess Ang Lee tried to stay real to the reality during WW2 in Shanghai, HK and such. I didn't know there would be white prostitutes In Shanghai... >_>; I didn't see anything special or impressive. Tony Leung was good. But.. I think the sex scenes were a bit too much... Tony Leung's private part was.. uhhhh x_x And it was rather long, 2 hours and a half.. And the ending was rather good.
-shock! lol, my max is sitting through 2 movies and after that my derrière have turned to wood and my back feels like broken into tiny pieces despite the comfortable cinema chairs. Never tried sneaking into another film when the first one ended (too much control) although I sometimes do that at gigs when there's 2 or more performances in the same venue.
^ i cant sit throght 2 movies one after another.... i watched this korean movie a few days back: anyone see it...what did you think...i thought it was so so...
2 movies ain't that much lol... and Tax you never sneaked into another film, you gotta try...save ya some money hehe And oh yea doesn't concerts hurt more, mosh pits and all lol. wait how long were they, the one's i've been to are usually 3-4 hours and when i get home, i shut down right away...
There's hardly a chance to sneak into another film unless you leave a movie before it ends as they always have people checking you at the entrance of each room :( (I have a love/hate relationship with mosh pits lol, but my gigs are usually 1 to 2 hours, -only a Mars Volta gig can take 3/4 hours hehe- so if there's anything interesting I'll have a look in the other room or just stay at the afterparty's if I'm with friends, so yeah when I'm back home I barely manage to go to the bathroom and sleep right away) Oh...maybe you guys can start a new thread about this: have you ever sneaked into another film?
^ but to sit in the same seat for like what about 4 hours...its bad enough to sit in 2 or 3 hour lectures..>.< guess im just not one for sitting still for long periods of time i danno... i havent sneaked into another film either....but like they say whatever takes ya fancy -rolleyes
No not the same seat, another one in another room where someone else had left his/her bottom prints in the chair before you sit on it -lol
lol but watching a movie is different from sitting in a lecture at least you won't get tested on the movie
