a night at the museum was the last movie i saw. its acutally pretti good, ben stiller is hilarious, its a good comedy!
yea and too think I thought it was gonna be one of those hard to get movies.. but damn... Chow Yun Fat.. laid an Ass Whoopin on that one son... -lol shit that was brutal...
yeah i saw the movie yesterday. it wasnt as good as i expected. i dont see how these movie adaptations can be short - they need to be as long as LOTR to make for the character developments and plots. I didn't read the book, but i could tell some bits where missing or not fleshed out.
the last movie i saw was 'Letters from Iwo Jima' and 'Curse of The Golden Flower' Letters from Iwo Jima was a great movie, based on the Japanese perspective during the war. its supposed to be the second movie by Clint Eastwood it's followed by the first film 'Flags of our Fathers' which is the American's perspective. Curse of the Golden Flower was a really boring Movie, really slow in the beginning then finally gets good towards the end.
John Tucker's must die. Not bad. I was more into TVB drama and English TV series lately. One tree hill, The O.C and Nip/Tuck so cool ~
The last movie I saw in theaters is Black Christmas and to tell you the truth, I think that movie sucked because all it was really about was these two inbreds who kill and eat peoples eyes.
Pan's Labyrinth and Curse of golden flower. Both were GREAT! Pan's Labyrinth was like, THE fantasy film of the year for me. I was pleasantly surprised by Jay Chou's acting skill, he wasn't half bad really! And Gong Li! And the clothes!!!
last movie i saw in theaters was stomp the yard. it was pretty enjoyable to watch. good if you like dancing movies.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (The Beginning) - utter crap and disgusting The first one was much better and scarier even though there wasn't as much gore involved.
Watched "Curse of the Golden Flower" just yesterday and have to say, it was not great, but it wasn't as bad as some of the people I heard from. The costumes cracked me up though- pretty sure they weren't exactly true to the time period. They did have lower necklines, BUT certainly not breasts half falling out I cracked up everytime some woman was seen running I thought it was pretty hard not to do so. I was actually pretty happy with Jay Chou's performance. I've seen him before and he was crap, but he was actually okay in this movie. There was a bit of intrigue, similar to that in Raise the Red Lantern, and again, Gong Li did a good job. I'd rather see Gong Li with the top roles than Zhang Zi Yi. She's shown that to me in a number of films.
