Home-made pei dan sau yuk juk 皮蛋瘦肉粥 (congee) served with yau char kwai 油炸鬼 (chinese donut) + glass of soybean milk.
Teppanyaki (seafood, beef, vegie, fried rice) + miso soup + black sesame ice cream. Went down well with the warm sake.
That is weird.. usually if there's shortbread, there's the puff ones. I used to like shortbread, but now my preference has changed back to the puff ones.
IKR, they used to have them side by side at most places... but these days it's super rare to find puff pasty ones.. i miss all my HK dan tarts
