ooh i started learning from aheeyah too! and then two of my Korean friends starte teaching me. so far i only know how to read and write and type... i still have no idea what Korean words mean. Ohh, i know how to say "mom, we're out of kimchi", "I understand Korean", and simple things like hello, go, hey!, older brother, older sister, younger sibling,... and count from one to ten. =D
this is the best site http://rki.kbs.co.kr/learn_korean/lessons/e_index.htm Very easy to learn with flash animation. Have fun

I'd say going to a Korean church is the best way. It's really isn't that hard. I actually self taught myself and it really isn't hard at all. I just don't have a korean church anywhere near my house so yeah~ There's really a lot of sites out there just type in korean dictionary and a particular site pops up, it's something, zkorean*#&$*(#&$*(#. I can't remember but it's really good.
hmm.. maybe one day I can start picking it up.. been a fan of korean movies for a while now. Would be nice to not have to wait for subtitles
This is a brilliant thread and I bookedmarked all the sites mentioned, thanks -lol I love korean drama and movies and would love to learn it so I don't have to relie so heavily on the subtitles -^_^
Does anybody know an online translate machine, where I can write a word in english or german, klick on a button and then there is the korean translation right away? I could only find something like that for german-english but not for german/english-korean... please help
