yeah i've done this before... i can make it switch to anti clockwise...but then it will just go back to clockwise, which is the original that i saw it. I remember getting so fustrated because i didn't know what the heck people were talking about when they said it changed and i didn't get it haha
clockwise for me. i remember doing a quiz of some sort and it says i use my left brain more but this one says i use right brain. don't know which one is true =( edit... yeah the dancer changes after a while to anti-clockwise and then back to clockwise =)
o mi god...lol... i thought my eyes were going funny like...lol one minute it was anti the next was clockwise...:S
If you take the picture and use either Photoshop or fireworks, you'll be able to break down the picture into frames. If you can do that then you will know for a fact that the image is just a repeat of the same images over and over. There are no switching of the direction of the silhouette anywhere.
I've viewed the picture in Image Ready, and I've realized what it does - all except 2 of the frames of the silhouette can be interpreted either as the front or the back of the dancer, the other 2 being the sides.
yes the image is NOT a trick we were bored at a party so i decided to open it up there were about 5-7 of us gathered around the laptop and most of us were seeing clockwise, and a few counter. i was able to switch it to counter and then got called crazy.
Trippy Optical Illusion The Trippiest Optical Illustions on the Net! Posted Oct 20th 2007 8:32PM by Joshua Fruhlinger Filed under: Audio/Video, Computers, Editor's Picks, Slideshows This silhouette wins the award for coolest thing we've seen all day -- and it's not just because the tiny dancer above is in the buff. This is a little test that will tell you whether the left or right hemisphere of your brain is more dominant. Instead of concentrating on her chest, concentrate on the woman's movement. If you see her spinning clockwise, that means you're using the right side, or more creative side of your brain. If she appears to be moving counter-clockwise, then that means the left side, or more logical side of your think muscle is superior. At the Switched office, some of us see her going clockwise, others see her spinning counter-clockwise. At least one of us claims to see both, while another one of us opened this animation in Adobe ImageReady in order to isolate the frames to see if there's any direction-changing funny business going on. There isn't. From Gizmo Watch I saw it like mostly clockwise for a while then it turned counterclockwise lol trippy... EDIT: OOPS POSTED ALREADY DELETE PLEASE
holy crap shes going both ways LOL yea it changes all the time for me left and right i guess its cuz im trying to do it with my mind on purpose
lol i found a trick to it if you look at her head, at first it will consistently spin clockwise then i looked down at your sig of the head explosion and looked back up and then it was spinning counter clockwise. to get it to spin clockwise again i just had to concentrate on the head again... weird
i first saw counter-clockwise and later, clockwise. it's easy to change your mindset by looking at the shadow of the raised leg. every time my eyes follow that shadow the direction always changes when i look back up.
