Just finished this series, I am a bit confused at the end, is that Never at the end or another BS look alike to end the series...
I just started this ~ ! I'm impressed by the first episode. Who plays Deen Jeh? She's cute, her 'look' reminds me of Karen Mok in 'God of Cookery' I'm liking Vincent in this ~ Guess I'm biased cos I got to see Vincent Wong and Jake Hui (Pao Jurng from Line Walker) yesterday
Cos I don't? Oh okay cool the infamous Sisley Choi that everyone on here talks about lol ~ I shall keep a more keen eye out for her and learn to recognise her next time lol
Just a joke ! Yeah, the mouth piece is kinda funny. But, with all the lead women showing their true colors, TVB is out of female leads. haha
Phoenix a sis fan? sissy is quite hated on here lol not sure why but i found her last few roles pretty good and has show improvement "deen jeh" is def her most lovable role to date she stepped outside of the box for this role.
shinobi This is the first time i've seen her in a series, bearing in mind i live under a tvb rock and i'm very very behind on dramas - so i have no clue on the 'new line up' girls. Everyone is fresh to me
Ansons prosthetic leg is funny. lol But yes, Sisley is a darling seeing as TVB has spiraled south with females revealing their true characters.
Their English names are funny ~ the judge never Wong? Lol ~ I dunno who she is as well? Also I just watched the bit where Sisley came out of the pool ~ I was like woow , her assets are big and then it turned out to be oranges I don't know if I should have felt disappointed or not?
Lol I get it, but it's just 'punny' Ali = the judge right? ~~~ P.S I don't like this case with Paul Sin, the whole Stockholm syndrome/sadistic abuse case with that girl from come home love. It's actually quite distressing...
i don't like Ali hitting on Vincent , and Vincent is actually so savage How many girls does he get 'Involved' with? First the makeout bed scene, I felt so bad for sisley under the bed, and now comes Tracey chu
well i just watched up to the bit where he's helping Yanice fight the wedding case Its a hard one, its a hard pick between Dino and Yanice but Vincent and Tracy already got together in that EU time travel film already lol Never is like his friend 'with benefits' but not really Dino is the best friend with unrequited love Yanice is his 1st love - bittersweet but they have to defeat her dad to properly end up together. If Yanice didnt appear, i would have hoped him to end up with Dino - finally appreciating her efforts But with Yanice, from what i can see so far they have a sweet innocent love, which could have been a nice fairy tale happy ending. BUT...i think hope man is guna be alone - he don't end up with no one. btw, how awful is paul sinn as a father? you don't indirectly hint at your son-in-law, rape my daughter to consummate the marriage. The guy is mad - his character is really evil and psycho. and the son-in-law = stupido, and naive for believing his lies....he better not do anything to her.....got up to her getting in the taxi and being chloroform'd.
Just finished this last night. Another emotional roller coaster - thanks guys! Overall this was a great series that I did enjoy. characters was great, and I was glad to see Vincent appreciate Sisley a bit more towards the end. But honestly the amount of times Sisley gets hurt, Sliced, hit is unreal lol - superwoman? I think I'm used too seeing her in this 'look' now Golden's death was sad and upsetting, Just when they finally became a family and was accepted, although Vincent was still a douche for abandoning the dog like that ~ heartbreaking to see him run after the taxi like that each time. The lawyer Gotham is a prick, so self righteous but he's such a snake (another punchable face) Paul Sinn's character - despicable, he's a nutter for real, so many lies and twists and the 'people' were just lapping it up glad they finally got him in jail. Wasn't particular affected by Yannice and Never dying because I can see it coming. Yannice - sigh, too naive, should have just left the father and cut him out. But even if she was alive I still don't think them two would have ended up together. Never was a strange one, sometimes can't really tell if she's genuine or not. But She was ok. I really like the song as well.
Watching 2/3 "big 3" dramas, I have to put Legal Mavs > Unholy. While Legal Mavs had less 'action', Unholy was a bit too unrealistic for me with the actions scenes Vincent did a good job, really loved the aspect when he wore the glasses it actually blinded him from the truth and when he took it off is when he found the real truth at the end. Sisley - Disliked her for a lot of her previous performances but this one is her best one yet. Thumbs up Ali - Honestly did not expect her to die. How many TVB dramas that people jump off a cliff into the waters just to survive? Thought it would be one of those but realistically she didn't make it. Also slight hope that she didn't die when Vincent identified her face Owen - His character was jokes. I was never one of the people that disliked him. Didn't really prove himself in CHL but again, one of his best performance to date. The bromance with Vincent was real lol Speaking of CHL, Anson (Owen) and Billy (Quinn Ho) reunited Tracy Chu - Somehow missed how Tracy Chu was to be in this drama despite her being on the poster ( lol). But when she did come in I thought she'd have a bigger role Pal Sinn - Why does it feel like he always takes these PK roles lol As previously discussed, I did think at the end Never truly liked Gogo. You know if that never worked out I really thought Gogo was gay for Hope man lol
Finished, yeah I know I'm almost 4 years behind Not bad series, agree that the cases were different which was nice. The name Never Wong was hilarious, I guess it makes sense for the obvious reasons why they named her that, and yes I felt like they took parts of Daredevil and put some of it in Hope Man...especially the mannerism if everyone's seen the Netflix DD series. Ali was definitely the work hard play harder in the series. It is sad that she's not in the sequel. On to part 2...
