well, its a different time we live in now. i'm not too surprised. i'm sure a lot of same sex couples would want their child to also know about same sex couples as normal too.

This book was only a controversy in America, it was written by a Dutch woman without intention to make kids gay (you can't make someone gay unlike the moronics are thinking), just showing there are other people and this subject was never done, so why not explore a new field? The end page of the book was showing the 2 kings kissing BUT their faces half hidden BEHIND a red heart, so it was censored, but even that was too daring. Narrow minded people...<_< And this childrens book only got the attention in The Netherlands because it apparently stirred a lot of commotion in the States.
^ I bet the sales was up for that reason alone... But on the lesbian book's removal, very soon they will just burn all the books as Fahrenheit 451 described... "giving the wrong ideas" my ar$e.
