Thanks for the suggestions guys I'll be adding them to the list. Winamp is already on the list and I've been using VNC for sometime and I love it. Also the to do list information has been edited. Thanks
For file compression there is also 7-Zip www.7-zip.org It works like IZarc but some files does works with it and vice versa.
Im not sure NOD32 belongs on the list, seeing as its not free, unless there some magical freeware version out there. Seeing as you got REAL alternative there, what about QUICKTIME alternative
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll have them added to the list in a jiffy. Actually, VNC is very safe to use. The computer being controlled can easily disable it which will kick the person controlling it off. Also, connection is password protected.
i'm sure most of us also watch divx/avi files and those tvb-rmvb files i would recomend getting either the k-lite mega codec package (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Mega_Codec_Pack.htm) it has most of the codec's that you'll ever need if you don't like installing the largest collection u can just get the real alternative download to watch just the rmvb files (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm) and just the divx codec files to watch the avi files (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/DivX6.htm)
Get CCCP( Combine Community Codec Package) all the codecs you can possibly want. The Super (C) the best free video/audio/ringtone converter possibly out there
