    Not for me anymore

I tried but it doesnt work. It has been the second time for me. The first one lasted one year, and the second one lasted 2 years.

Well prepare yourself for bad news if you cannot find them.
    Usually they are hiding something.

1 out of 10 this kind of relationship might have worked. But there'll be lots of efforts put more than non long distance one. And usually, there'll be another person who will replace you in your loved one's heart -- vice versa.

from personal experience long distance will never work.. its the lack of physical contact and lack of sex and time difference and having to spend ur time by the computer instead of out with friends

LD relationships wont work for #1 and #3. #3 maybe. I would do it for #3 if I really cared about the relationship.

i think it depends on how much i like this person and if i think its more than just fling.
if i feel that theres something more to the relationship, reason for commitment then ill probably give it a try.
    also, trust is another factor.

they work, of course they do.
especially if u were with this person for a longer period and you love each other.
    (c) it's only one year, besides that u can always see each other during vacations etc. <3

if you're both mature and committed about the relationship, then it can work in the beginning. but in the end, one person will have to move so that both an be together. otherwise, it won't last.

Long distance relationship lacks a lot of the security bit, sure you can just keep saying you trust your partner but in the end it always results in a little doubt. THere are not many good turn outs, but its not completely impossible.

Lol - boyfriends/girlfriends that come back from overseas at start of TVB series never have good endings :p

If I fell in love i'd weigh up my options and if it's a country I liked move there! If not i'd see if she wanted to move here.

a good way would be to stay friends or just go and be with that person...
i can't say anything cuz i have a crush on my friend and plan to tell him ASAP but as i will go on exchange to study soon enough... i'm hesitating on whether to tell him or not...

I guess it depends on the both of them...you'll need lots of effort to keep this kind of relationship especially the different timezone for the both of them...for me i dont think it would work out in a long distance relationship...i did wanted to court a girl in australia whereby im in uk....she used to be my ex...but how can u manage the time difference of 10-11 hours? <_<

however it did work for my bro...he's with this girl when the girl is at the age of 16...my bro went oversea for studies for 3 years, just last year they got married after my bro grad...now the girl is 25...just couldnt imagine how long they both were together...did broke up once when the girl went to college...really respect this kinda relationship...but sadly it just didnt happen to me -_-2
