just like 23 is the new 22...monitors going for the true 16:9 instead of the the 16:10 now for entertainment i guess. but its kinda useless for the laptops cause i wouldn't watch videos on that thing with shit sound and i don't like headphones. but it will sure benefit on the larger monitors for people who want to utilize the hdcp feature without the vertical stretching.
