I spoke to a dietitian and he said as long as you burn off the calories you eat, you can lose weight or stop gaining weight.
it is always easier said than done but it is all just about calories and balanced diet. Rice is no problem, just the porportion!! If input calories < output calories you will lose weight!
i'm drinking water (2 l every day), eat only once a day (no bread, potatos, rice, sweets but a lot of fruits, white low fat cheese and veg) and in the morning i drink one of those protein shakes based on 0,0% milk. i lost 5-6kg in a month. that's maybe not amazing, but it's always something. and every 2-3 days i try to work out a lil bit. i need to lose a lot of weight before i go to taiwan T_T otherwise i will be huge next to small, tiny chinese girls, lol.
guess am d otha person dat dun eat rice~~not dat i dun like it it jus dat i heard it fatty lol~~any other ways 2 loose weight?
I lost 30 pounds before and I still ate rice. The main thing is to eat a small portion. Of course as everyone else would say exercise...it really helps
dont eat crap and you'll lose weight in no time no sweets, no snacks, no sugary drinks just decent meals x 2-3 per day and water/tea. i went from 13.5 stones to 10 stones in like 1 year and i didnt go to the gym, just exercised now and then at home for like 20-30 minutes per day was 10.5 stones like 4 weeks ago, now 10 stones ~ love my homecooked meals and i rarely go out to eat ~ use to have cravings for sweets and snacks at night, hard at first but get use to it and not eat them at all ~
^marron = she newayz... it's doable if she's taking protein shakes... depending on her size, her calorie intake should be able to sustain her even with one meal...
It's very easy: change you habit of volume you eat in rice. A healthy diet look like this on your plate: 70% is vegetables + 10 % is carbohydrates (=rice, pasta, etc) + 10% proteins(=deep see fish like salmon, tuna or nuts) + 10 % oils (like olive, avocado.) Drink at least 1.5 liter water day. I can guaranty you'll get thin. But even more important. You will be filled with energy every second of the day!
there's nothing wrong with rice it's what you eat with it lol look at asia they live on rice and noodles and yet they're so thin they've only started getting bigger lately because of mc'donalds etc being introduced
yes that is true however, she is losing too much weight too quickly. it's bad for the body and u can so easily gain it back if u eat. what has happened is that her body has gone into energy saving mode so her metabolism is slow, this means that she is still losing just as much weight cos her calorie intake is low. however, it is very unhealthy to lose it that way as the metabolism has slowed down and if u eat it's very easy to gain weight. best weight to maintain and lower weight is to eat in moderation but still to eat and to exercise. go to the gym. go for cardiovascular combined with weights, it's most effective that way. then u lose weight a lot more healthily and it's better for the body and then when u eat u won't gain weight quickly.
