Somehow when TVB gave her the "best acting award" knew this would come sooner or later. She will be dearly missed by all people in HK & asians overseas. Her charisma, happy cheerful image, acting skills with her iconic laughter cannot be replaced by anyone else. I guess the TVB program series "yau yune serng chui" was her last memorable meeting with all her friends all around the world. It is worth taking another viewing & keeping.
that's sad .. i've been watching her show since i was young .. i rememberd when she start laughing..we all start to laugh along.. lol.yea..back in the day.. didnt expect that to happen..but it might be good for some reason .. at least.. she wont suffer anymore...hope that she will rest in peace from now.. .
she was a great host and a great actor. She did many great events and did many great deeds. i really liked her as a matter of fact...... its just so saddening.....it happens so fast....she was always that happy kind of person... I wish her family hope and strength to go through this.... May she rest in peace.
Sigh .. I have been watching her shows since I was a kid. She is definitely one of a kind host and actress. She always possesses the ability to entertain people and make everyone laugh even with the corniest jokes. She will be greatly and greatly missed .. It kinda creeping me out that a lot of good entertainers have passed away these past few years especially those that I grew up listening to or watching on television such Leslie Cheung, Anita Mui, Lo Man, and now Lydia Sum. Time really flies .. they have all been in the industry for so long and now is the time when they supposedly enjoy the fruit of their hard work, it's unfortunate and sad that they passed on like this. I am sure Lydia would like to see her only daughter attain some level of success before dying. I just hope everyone rest in peace. I am sure Yan Yee's father would look after her now. Sigh... what a blow after the holiday weekend.
o'man, this is really sad! i don't know how tvb shows gonna be like without her. she's such a great host for tvb shows.
=( *cries* just heard this earlier on 903 hk radio. Atm they talking about hoi sum gwor - fei jeh!, playing her singing. Really miss her laughter and happiness. =( All so sudden! *sigh* Great si yeh! She will be missed! She always makes me smile everytime I see her on tv. Support her daughter - yan yee! "jeurng d ng hoi sum yeah, mong gei hui. Lei sing yat jau wui ho hoi sum la"! - says by fei jeh! =)
