Try to ask around where does that girl you like shops at and see if they got a men's department?

Guess we need to ask OP if the girl likes him also.

If the girl is his gf, dont think it matters much to ask her to go shopping with him. However, if the girl is not hi gf, then buying clothes to match her will not do any good either.

why not just be yourself instead of try to change your dress for someone else?? if she only care about superficial stuff, she is probably not worth to be dating anyway

ehh.. image is overrated lor.. but if you really insist, just say what kind of style you are looking for.. "cool" is too vague

is it really bothering you that much?
why not just stick to regular jeans, t-shirts (maybe with a brand name)
or just observe how, hk guys dress, and maybe follow some of their style... XD

but, really is it bothering you that much?

are you just self concious of losing your gf cos she like style? or you just wanna match her?
well i suggest bape.. a bape tee with evisu jeans and some awesome shoes.. air force or chuck taylors are awesome~ and hair style is definately important. to samrten your look but still keep it casual try a suit jacket over a hooded jumper and your gf will drop! =p
and just update your look with different tees or even a buttoned shirt for more formal

    Flashy Young Guy's Clothes (U.S.)

If you're in the States, you can check out XenoModa.com for something different. A Korean-American owns it and they have men's clothes (mostly shirts) from Europe. Prices average at around $50-60, so they're meant to be those special pieces in your closet for when you want to be noticed.

usually if u wana dress up, gota be prepared to pay a bit more for the premium stuff. Being asian/chinese, image matters the most. That explains why every other person in HK carry sumthing thats of a upper market brand such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, BAPE, Evisu, Stussy. Thats the HK style tho, if ur from America then consider urself lucky, get stuff from Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister (for example) for t-shirts as they'v got nice material and designs and it's half price of UK prices!!!. Just save up that bit more and buy sum more popular brands which people like to wear, wen people see brands, they assume ur doing pretty well and therefore can change opinions about u. Good luck wiv the girl too!!
