Mandarin-Catonese Which one are you?

I wanna learn more mandarin...

 

I'm surprised the majority of the people here aren't Mandarin. Theres atleast 8 Chinese people in my calculus class and guess what... they're all Mandarin lol...except for me >>

But yea, I agree Cantonese sounds much better than Mandarin. Mandarin sounds kinda funny to me lol I am pretty fluent in Cantonese but I can't read/write it..except for my name. I really wish I know how to read and write it tho.

 

Of course Cantonese sounds better. You're Cantonese. I'm Taiwanese so Mandarin sounds better to me but Taiwanese.... muah.

 

I'm very fluent in speaking cantonese, but when it comes to writing I'll run=). lols I've been learning cantonese for 3years, and I can't seem to inject any of those learning in my head><.

I'm Teo Chew Chinese but i speak Cantonese and a bit Mandarin... want to study more some time though! Both languages sounds good since both are Chinese! xD But as for songs.. i prefer Manadrin ones! ^_^Y

 

Catonese. People tell me you can learn Mandarin you just slightly change the sound, but I don't get how to do that

lols, i hav kind of the same situation, mi cousins and i are all abc's but i speak most fluently ^^ (maybe it has somting to do with me going to chinese school)

 

Canto-speaking too!!! I can speak pretti fluently tho im told that i have a sort of english accent...sort of read...Writing well umm I can look @ something & write it but frum the top of mi head not really

Canto.. sadly I can speak to a certain extent of vocabulary.. =/ Lol I can't read or write.. Only way to expand vocabulary is.. TVB! and.. movies.. and chinese songs. =o xD
