Why are there only mandarin and cantonese options only ?

Shouldn't there be hakka, minnan, wu etc ?

Well, my family's language is not Cantonese but a dialect of Cantonese I guess.
I'm actually Taishanese but I can speak Cantonese and understand pretty well (not to mention all the TVB and Hong Kong movies I watched while growing up). But yeah .. it's Cantonese with my friends and Toisan with my family. ^_^

I expected more Mandarin people...seeing as the official language of China is Mando. I'm Canto though...I love Canto way more than Mando. I don't get why Canto isn't the official language...it should be!!

Yeah, I like Cantonese better because .. well it's the language that I know how to communicate with and that I can understand it. Mandarin is a but hard for me to understand but I guess I can figure out a couple of phrases or so. o_o

Well, it is very advantageous if you can speak both. I can speak both but since living in America, English is the first language and hence the level of my mandarin just decreases to a certain level and I now feel that my Cantonese is much better.
