    I'm cantonese and yeah well it's amazing that noone said that they're manderin coz most chinese people speak it -ohmy

    I can speak Cantonese but it'd be nice to be able to speak in Mandarin as well.

    I'm Cantonese but I'm interested in Learning Mandarin.
    I've been listening to Mandarin music and watching Mandarin tv for a while now.
    It's a difficult language to grasp. I can't differenciate the tones.

    I'm cantonese born in HK but moved to US at young age...speak canto with my parents all the time so can speak pretty well...but reading and writing is a different story can only read a few characters.
