    Matsui was awesome. At the same time The Phillies should have walked him even with runners on bases. But with his knees I think this will be the last time he will be a yankee. He will return back to Japan a hero.

    after his strong series performance, i wouldn't be surprised to see a number of american league teams knocking on his door for a DH spot.

    Matsui was amazing in game 6 and deserves to win MVP for the world series.

    I think the yankees will get him back because he was so good in this series, of course if the price is right. I hope he'll be back.

    Matsui is already 35. I think he might be considering retirement in the not too distant future. He has played 17 years in baseball and has made good money for retirement, I am sure. Current contract is 52 millions for 4 years with Yankees.

    i don't think he'll give up the chance to make more, being a major leaguer is easy money.
