some reminders about those lil vampire bugs. They are attracted to carbon dioxide... breathing heavily will attract them, also sweat has some relation. I forgot if like... eating onions helped or not....

Yup, too right. The carbon dioxide part. Your skin breathes so it knows where to nite you to get blood easily.

You should try being in malaysia. It's hot and rainy all year long here. Mosquitoes breed when it rains and thrive in the humid weather. So an electrical mosquitoe swatter is a must in every home. My house has about 6 or 7... At least 1 in every room.

I usually hit the bitten area or poke it a bit. Most important, don't scratch. The itch increases when you scratch. It'll be relatively normal without itch again after a few minutes.

Yeah but I'm actually comparing summer with summer. in Malaysia, it's like summer all year right? Does that mean mosquitoes come out in the thousands for a short summer somewhere, equivalent to a year's worth of mosquitoe in Malaysia or something? So I'm wondering if the mosquitoe numbers differ in places with four seasons and those without.

  9. it depends on if there is alot of water in a country (dont know how you say it in english but water in the air -what?)
but you can see if there is a small period of summer in a country there will be less mosquito's , like in the netherlands.. if you live like in the amazone... GLHF getting bitten to death xD

aww man. yeah. i have these two small teeny little misquito bites right next to each other on my foot. darn vampire-misquitoes who apparently target feet. i usually try to rub em with 'white flower oil' and i really try to resist the urge to scratch with my nails because apparently that's bad.. somehow and it makes the bite even more itchier. or i just wet a napkin and slap it on because that also works (for me).
