I agree that her character is not necessary in here. It would be nice to show more of her being there for Raymond, and Raymond actually returning those feelings, but since he never loved her, her character is insignificant in here other than being the final love interest for Chun Man, though I like him more with Sin Sin.
Myolie was great I agree that her role in TDOL was soso, but is not Myolie we should blame. It's TVB. She can't do much when the role she is put into is always secondary and like insignificant. I do think that Ray. was like "evil" for treating Myolie the way he did when she has done so much for him. I'm sorry I don't like Charmainem but I really don't know why.
