but wats that gotta do with a computer?? =/

btw with ur $130 harddisk, keep in mind that its a 3.5" (ie u need to have a power wall socket to plug in for it to work)
    if u find a 2.5" u don't need to (generally speaking)

damn that sounds cheap, even for an external 3.5"
    i got my 160gb 2.5" for about 190 each
i got my 80gb 2.5" for about 170 each (many years ago)

^and since it's 3.5" i doubt it would be pocketable like the 2.5" ones, but that price is average here in U.S., dunno what brand it is though cause i can get a WD MyBook Version for the same price here. And oh yea 2.5" are more expensive than 3.5", and the format thing, i heard you'll have to format it if it's like more than 80gb, well heard that when i bought mines (a year ago), maybe it's all formatted now lol.

  6. yea like you said back in the day...

damn I don't think 500gb is gonna be enough... it's all about the 1TB these days ya heard!? -cool2

-it doesn't matter if it has anything to do with a computer or not. anything blingy is awesome. but i was talking about blinging up my external hard drive.
i don't mind the wall socket thing. don't plan on bringing it anywhere with me anyways. i jsut don't wanna keep d/l movies and stuff onto my laptop.

well, let's hope there isn't gonna any formatting needed for this. also, it's a comstar brand.

1000, pffft, i was looking at this one that is 2000GB! buuuuuut, it was like 800 dollars or something ridiculous like that. rather buy shoes. but i did see a 1000GB for like 270 or something.

  8. yea.. exactly... your ass can't afford the 2tb.... soo pffffttt....

jus buy the 1tb and then some shoes with the money you save and you can show us... -lol

500gb should do u fine. its not like u need to store that much and besides by the time u do fill it up which will be a while it will be even cheaper then for larger capacities. so why spend more on something when it will become cheaper.

yea actually the usb thig looks pretty slick...-cool

and lee-lee make you find out what the warranty for the drive is... otherwise even 5 thousand gigs won't do you any good if it dies in a matter of months...

warranty or not, if it dies ur screwed either way lol
but yeah, most of them are only 5 yr warranty or so...
don't think i tmakes too much difference

get some dvds like ty (taiyo yuden) which supposedly have like archival quality of 100 years or so
at least it should last... as a 2nd backup =)

getting the external drive is the way to go. I bought a seagate 500gig. worth the money. I've heard it's better then the western digital one. good luck.
