hmmm, never had issus on quad-core but because when the file is ripped along with DTS or whatever, winavi doesn't have that, then the audio would sound as nice. are ppl converting WHILE reading/writing from the hdd?
Winavi is a great and versatile software. It is a video converter of many formats as well as a DVD Video creator.
Let me recommend using the Western Digital WD TV HD Media Player instead, just hook to the TV, so no more time wasted on converting and buring to DVDs, keep the digital content as long as you want
