  1. dim8sum yeah i think u can get a 500W but it depends on what the 12V rails can take, plus all my usb ports are used up at all times so it drains alot of power.

  3. yeah, with my old PSU i used to get messages saying my GPU aint gettin enough power an it can break my mobo etc, that got me scared and this was with my crappy FX5900 GPU never mind the 1950, now no probs :p runs fast for an Athlon XP 2600 (old Skool yeah)

I would strongly recommend you considering get the Q6600. (The quad core). Prices for this processor dropped drastically over the past month. The highest I've seen at the moment is $300 USD. Be sure to get the G0 stepping if you do decide to go with the quad.

^the G0 stepping OCs like a MOFO! and on air too, clocked to 3.4GHz stable by hexus (3.5GHz was done, but ran too hot for their liking)

but quad core still not worth it yet i say

It may not be worth it at the moment, but if you're planning to build a computer that will last the test of time, quad is the way to go. ;)

^personally dell charge a premium on their comps, that if you know how to do yourself, isnt worth paying

you do get aftersales support (not so sure about the quality though)

and all the dells ive come across, leave very little in terms of future upgrading, due to proprietary mobos, connectors, etc. maybe their new pcs are better, dunno
