Still haven't seen this yet but it does look quite good. Daniel craig look great as teh new james bond.
James Bond orders his martinis ' the wrong way'... Alongside the classic opener of: "My name is Bond, James Bond", the line in which a barkeeper asks the fictional secret agent how he likes his martini in Casino Royale... as featured in every 007 film. Guess what is Daniel Criag respond? Instead of saying "I like it shaken not stirred", Daniel reply with "Do I look as if I give a damm?"... DUH..!!!??? -shock
The movie are all low tech. What's bond without those fancy hi-tech gear? Bourne Identity is probably a much better movie than this. ;-)
well the only thing i can think why this bond is so different its because he just became 007 ... maybe he's still picking things up ..hehe oh well .... this might have been how bond really was when he 1st became 007 lolz
considering ive never before had a interest in seein james bond at the cinemas, i personally liked the direction this new JB is taking the gritty realistic look
the movie is good.. nothing like the old 007 movies... pretty serious.. no jokes.. and they also took out the intro music.. the director wanted to make it like the very old classic 007 comic books I think. The guy that plays James Bond is too buffed for the James Bond that ppl r used too I think.
i like this bond movie... daniel craig is definitely different from brosnan, but he seems to fit the idea of a bolder, brasher bond more so... it's more believeable that he is less complex and more likely to get in trouble than brosnan ever was... and the low-tech is great, in my opinion... we're not watching mission impossible... i always thot the gadgets shud be saved for that instead
they took it back to old school and killed alota the tech. made it a real down and dirty spy movie. i def liked the dif direction in this bond film.
I did not like this new direction the franchise is heading towards. Partially because I liked Pierce Brosnan as Bond, sophisticated and chic. Craig as Bond just strike me as very "construction worker"-like, unfortunately, even though Craig look very tough (and ugly IMHO), I see little fighting sequence that is efficient and cool (like Bourne franchise). Most of what Craig did was clumsy and unprofessional which raise my doubt of M's sanity for granting him double-o ranking. Casino Royale fell short of realistic violent brutality that is reflective of Ian Flemming's original. Craig lacked the finesse of the previous Bonds, thus rendering the film remarkably less enjoyable.
