this season's been so up and down for everyone... -.-;... i can totally see a 7-9 team getting into the playoffs from the nfc west... and i wouldn't be surprised if an 8-8 team made it to the superbowl this year from all the consistency around the league... whoever was the schedule maker... hats off to u, u fcked off half the teams this season like the niners... 4 straight games against bowl contenders...

  4. lol.... ^ maybe he had a bet with a friend and he is doing whatever it takes to win it..... but yeah the season is pretty much even aside from the Titans who are like 6-0

Niners so disappointing. They could be 6-2. The last 4 games not counting the seattle they were winning till the 4th quarter. If only they only play 3 quarters well be unbeatable ^^

i've been a giants fan since the kerry collins time. they're gunna go to the superbowl again. but probably not win. they lost so much defensive players like strahan and osi and they still lead the league in sacks. they lost once to the browns but that was cause the browns needed a win. they wanted it more than the giants. they fell asleep. shockey ? who needs him now that we have the boss.

cowboys and saints fan also. brees is on fire. romo WAS on fire before his pinky injury.

  9. this season isn't doing so great... match ups seem very less hyped up and the only thing that is still interesting is the titans... and all them high expectation QBs getting hurt and replaced by backups... blah..

The Giants passed a huge test in Philly, they are definitely in control of their own destiny. Go Giants!

    In other news...

-The best division is definitely in the NFC. Whether it's the East or the South is up for debate. The worst... NFC West or the AFC West.

-There's too much horrible teams this year, so I guess it's why the matchups don't seems to be too appealing compared to years past.

Surprising team of the year: Atlanta Falcons
Most disappointing team of the year: San Diego Chargers/Jacksonville Jaguars

And ouch to the Steelers, tough loss due to Big Ben's careless throws.

  12. i would agree with the SD being quite disappointing this year along with Indy... and obviously the pats.... sigh.... but the titans are holding on their perfect season so far and it looks like they will be able to go 16 and 0 because seriously.... the only teams that stand a chance in their schedule are Jets, Pittsburgh and Indy but Pits and Indy teams aren't playing up to last season par and the Jets will be playing an away game so the titans have home field advantage... and farve might choke....... so 14-0 is a likely feat the titans may accomplish but the true test is when they play the last 2 regular season games against pits and indy.... if not they will be following in the footsteps of the Pats.....

cowboys are doing really bad so far =(, but that's okay because giants did pretty poor first half last year but eventually won superbowl, just like what Dallas is going to do

Do or die for the Cowboys this week. If they lose to the Redskins, it's pretty much game over for them. The last four games of the season for the Cowboys are very tough.

I wouldn't say the Pats' season is a disappointment given they lost Brady 8 minutes into the season and tie for first place. If they beat the Jets this week, they are sitting pretty for the rest of the season as the rest of their schedule is not too bad. As for the Titans, they reminded me of that '74 Dolphins. A dominating D, a great rushing attack with a game manager at QB, and a weak schedule to boot. I don't see them to win out however because they need a lot of luck, just like that '74 Dolphins team.

We need to beat Washington this week. Romo is back, Newman is back Portis out..if we lose it's over.

honestly this season has been one of the better seasons of football for a long time... all the playoffs spots are up in the air and it will come down to the wire...

it's to the point where no team is actually out of it unless ur cincy, kc or detroit...

at this point, i wouldn't be surprised if it was Miami and ATL in the superbowl seeing as how unpredictable this season has been... might as well pick the two most unpredictable teams in the league...

This season is definitely not the best the NFL has to offer. Too many bad teams out there and there's only one elite team in the NFL, and that's the Giants. As for the Titans 10-1 record, they got to a hot starts because of a weak schedule partly due to the weak AFC and lack of an elite team in the conference. Got blown out by the Jets last week; the Jets got blown out by the Broncos this week; the Broncos got blown out by the Raiders last week. The Steelers is probably the better team but not by much. The Jags and Chargers stunk. The Ravens looked good but having a rookie QB can put you in tight spot in some games. The Colts can't click on all cylinder, and the Pats lost Brady (Cassel falls back to earth today).

It's a mess, at least in the AFC.

As for the Burress' story, I believe he didn't put the safety on his glock and it went off in his pant or something. Probably might face suspension since it's illegal to bring an unlicense gun outside your home. The guy's an idiot, but thank goodness he didn't cost the Giants' season.
