Actually it comes from Japanese which means "We" (don't blame me for any mistake,i saw this from the Official Nintendo Magazine), and i thnk the name "Revolution" in the beginning is quiet cool : \ Wii's design and idea is good, it's amazing controller makes the games difference! I don't think XBOX360 or PS3 can compete with Wii, because they are not aiming the same target : )~ (Prefer Nintendo Wii~-inlove)
They changed Rev. Cuz Xbox already took 360... I dunno I think Nintendo coulda came up with somethin better... I wonder if the controller is standard nunchucks size... -Super Star -sorc
the name wii sounds kind of stupid what the hell is wii they still make it look like kids stuff, but i think its better then ps3 and xbox360 which both are all about graphics and complication
yeah it looks pretty cool ,its going to be cheap as well from wht ive seen from other forums it is pretty popular
i hope the wii doesnt have like a basic motion feel, like just moving the controller really slow but u still hit a ball at 150 mph. i want like a more reality/true feel.
the nintendo wii owned the e3 show with it's new controller, i was impressed too and the ps3 had some bad news, like it's using it's old controller instead of the newly designed one (kind of good news) and also the cheaper version is really missing something that is essential. so I think the nintendo wii is going to shine because it's controller already made it extremely unique and fresh.
Nintendo Console has already been better than Playstation.... In Japan, Nintendo items r sold almost nearly 10x much more play Playstation... in Asia: NDS > PSP N64 > PS1 GameCude > PS2 & it's no different that Wii > PS3... however in Canada or US.... i think playstation stuff r just sold a little bit more pretty much even with nintendo.... (but damn... about time someone changes idea of a controller....)
^ well everyone has to copy from someone therefore they can improve into something even better, i dont see much of a problem with that as long as their controller works well with the actual movement
