it kinda depends on wot kinda ppl ur talking to n wot kinda conversation it is... it's good to go straight to the point if someone comes to u with a problem or u try to tell someone something... but if ur gf was to discuss a movie with u n u just say "it's good" or "it sux"... to me that's not enuf to keep the conversation flowing... but then again if she talks a lot n she's not complaining then u shouldn't worry too much... communication in a relationship isn't just talking... it's getting to know each other n u can do that in many many many other ways other than talking...
i dont think by not talking much..it makes u a bad bf...it just shows that maybe ur kinda quiet or the subject of the convo doesnt really suit you? i have a friend that talks but not alot depending on who he's with and like you, he doesnt like to beat around the bush n get straight to the point sometimes..but unforntuately he adn his gf broke up because she thought my friend was being cold to her cos he was quiet..but thats how he is...anyways i guess some girls just prefer guys that talk....
guys need to talk... everyone needs to talk... learn to converse... i find girls who don't talk boring... that would be the same for guy, i find them boring too... and girls would find them boring eventually, after they run out of things to say. although silence is fine... don't feel awkward bout it... happens to everyone.
if u are thinking of the girl as a target and u can't find anything to say..then that might be a sign that she aint someone that will work out? i dunno. thats IMHO.
You can try to start a convo by asking about her interests or just try to have a discussion about politics and social issues to keep your relationship entertaining. I dun think it has use to talk about your own favorite subject (let's say 'cars') while she's only interested in fashion, so you have to try to find a middle way. It's ok if you're not a conversationalist but do try to give her hints on what you would like to talk about even if it's her to be the main talker between you two.
