I think PA is one of the best forums around because they don't force people to put up posts. It's just the attitude of some people who make it a pain for the contributors...

It does piss people off!! I mean yeah... sooo many members here registered yet they dont posts anything!! All they do is d/l cos they have to log in to see the download links!! hmm.. i think we should do somehting about this!!!! And i think the members who joined like a year ago yet have no posts should be banned!!!

You know what? i did suggest sth before regarding this, but I doubt the mods would do it as they don't like to force the members to do sth... I suggested to use ur posts count similar to 'purchase points'. So; let's say if u need to dl from a link, u use 5 of your posts count for that; and it gets deducted from ur posts count. In a way, it 'forces' people to post in the forum, coz without the posts count; you won't be able to 'purchase' the links.. hahaha. Another system would be to start a point system. You get 1 point for every post you make (apart from ur posts count), and those points can be made to 'purchase' dl links...
^yeh ive seen similar stuff in other forums, but tbh any system that requires posts to download will just make people spam
Hmmm...I think the mods have their own reasons for not forcing ppl to post. No worries, they'll soon love this site so much that they'll contribute on their own initiative (like yours truly )
well i always download in other forums, because i dont really like torrents. so i dont really download a lot from PA ...
