...You need to relax. I merely said that what we find acceptable changes every generation. This change may not be acceptable to you, but it may become generally accepted or even positive. I'm not saying I agree with these pageants, I simple wanted to you to not be so quick to judge. I obviously failed, considering your spaz reply. Also, how can this not be compared to assuming girls should stay at home? It used to be societal norms, males ones, that enforced the idea of keeping women at home to do domestic chores. I don't think its any different to you enforcing your idea of what 10 year olds should do, while condemning them and their parents when they don't conform to YOUR beliefs. Lastly, like I said before, "normal" changes. Since you're so opposed to change, perhaps I should tell you to stop wearing pants, put on a skirt/dress and make me a sandwich? I'm sure this would have been "normal" 50-60 years ago. Either way, I'm going to stop replying to you because I feel like I'm just spamming the thread. It's unfortunate that I've managed to make you rage over this.
^dude ur the one who started to talk like i kicked u in the balls...........................0_o... i never said i had a thing against change, but not all change is good.... i see kids behave "changing" every day, doesnt mean i have to agree with all of it and it surely doesnt mean that it's all normal... u just assumed that im some holy ass saint catholic girl who's against emancipation n change... the whole sandwich comment is stupid as once again i dont see how the two things u compare are similar.. women and men having equal rights and kids at the age of 10 wearing make up.... right What ur saying is that i am obliged to accept that every thing changes and i do agreee, times which means that the way of thinking will adjust... but must i accept every bit of it... similar to people who start saying being a paedophile is becoming normal and that we should accept it as it will be accepted in the future? Thats just messed up -_- n i refuse to think that ACCEPTING ALL CHANGE is the only way to be normal.... U have brains of ur owns dont u... u dont have to act like a sheep that follows the crowd... i merely shared my view... n i dont think there's anything else we can do but to agree to disagree as i dont see the use in a further discussion as it seems as its pointless!
I'm sorry but at she dresses more conservative than many of these 'pop idols' and you get the idea.. I mean who are lil kiddies n teenagers most likely to follow? It's empowering because this girl shows a type of swagger.. She's saying she's got high self esteem and that she can rock these designer clothes. Dressing little girls up in Walmart clothes or trying to make them look like tom boys isn't necessarily going to deter pedophiles. She's posing for pictures it's supposed to be artistic.. arts always been a thing where they show something controversial or difference.. that's what gets peoples interests. Vogues just trying to be different. It's not showing her at the club with a bottle on her hand or a cigarette on the other.. it's not showing her dancing next to a pole.. If she and her parents have no problem with it, I don't understand why it should be a problem for others. it's called fashion darling.. get some..
-_- what other adult female artists are doing n the effects they have on kids... thats a whole other discussion... im talking about 10yo girls dressing up like that, in case u havent noticed...? Im getting the feelin that because of the fact that I feel this is wrong, u guys think im old fashioned or whatever... but hey i dont give a rat's ass...!!! Go ahead n dress ur kids like that if u want to *shrugs*... I def wouldnt stimulate my daughters to copy those popidols' clothing style! N since when are childlike clothes associated with cheap/walmart??
I saw this on Yahoo the other days. Just so damn wrong. MissCheeks is right on .. the girl is just too young and I am glad the mother union spoke out. If anyone find it normal or anywhere acceptable, then you gotta see a psych soon cuz obviously, something is really wrong with you. Yeah, there are mothers out there who got kids botox and shit but legally and morally, it's wrong. Most importantly, these are minority incidences. When pics like these hit the mass media, it's a different story and a sign that something is fucking up in our society. We are arresting pedophiles and yet these pics are flying out in the media as if it's normal .. WTF. If I was the parent, I'd be embarrassed.
lol wut you call me chica i waz just tellin the truth not everyone could gucci from head to toe!!! obvious pedobear fanboy is obvious :trollface2:
To me it looks like a little girl dressed in her mother clothes. She might be young but she does not look mature to be wearing clothes like that.
I don't like change, if only women would stay home and make sandwiches... But in all seriousness *cough* I wouldn't mind seeing this picture but at the same time, I would never let my kid(s) follow her footsteps. In that sense, I wouldn't agree with what she's doing because it's slowly changing our perception of what is right and what is wrong. Our society is continuously pushing the boundaries and it is becoming hard to make any definite choice. There are too many gray areas which makes things very problematic.
