You can't learn to fight and defend yourself against the animals of jail in just a few weeks. Her parents could probably pay the jail money to have her live like the Mobsters who are in jail... (assuming the jail thing in the movie Goodfellas is accurate enough).

She won't learn until she gets her head kicked in... serious.

EDIT: and good thing it seems like the Governator isn't going to pardon Paris... otherwise a lot of dudes will throw fits cos he let Tookie Williams die...
