I have never been to a party without alcohol either. I'm one of those that are happy to drink or not to drink but I do end up drinking as there is no harm in it. I think to the point I understand what Tisken is saying coz some people just get too out of control! But I don't think I have ever had to deal with them myself apart from myself being too rat arsed that I threw up in a family reunion lol. (I was young!) But alcohol is kind of a key element of not leaving people out and not having to feel out of place with a lack of confidence too. Not saying I'm that kind I just love my drink
lol drink water before you go to bed after you drink alcohol. works every time. But it's typically what people do. When you go into the workforce chances are you'll go for drinks after work with your workmates. So it's not just college/uni parties. Alcohol just tends to loosen people up, it's funny seeing shy people who after a few drinks just wont shut up lol. Personally though i think if you don't like what your friends do, maybe your hanging with the wrong crowd.
If u dun wanna go to parties where ppl drink then do go there... im sure there are parties where ppl don't drink... I mean it cant be possible that EVERYONE drinks... Although I dont see whats wrong with drinking... as long as ppl dont get into stupid fights, get caught up in drama etc then whats the problem... ? I never really get bothered by ppl drinking (even at times when im at a party n dont I drink) cuz i drink with friends... its kinda funny seeing my friends acting retarded... Besides... if the only reason why u dun drink is cuz u dun like the taste...there are some drinks where u barely even taste the alcohol...
^WTH........ May I suggest Corona. This is the only beer I drink since others make me wanna throw up. You just have to find your beer.
i think moderation is the key, you can still have fun. won't get a major hangover and there won't be any drunken fights or drama...
naa i think im hanging with the right crowd but... my friends want to see me getting drunken when i graduate yeah you guys are right.... there is nohting about alc. i just dont like the taste. maybe i should start with some "non-alc-taste drinks".....
Non-alcoholic cocktails are gorgeous I remembered I had to had some because I was the desginated driver for this celebration dinner so I wasn't allowed to drink so I opted for these non alcoholic cocktails and believe me it was pretty much HEAVEN!:wackit:
if you're not comfortable with drinking, you shouldn't have to follow what others are doing... besides.. whos gonna take the girls home if you're drunk too.. :naughty:
