^ I used both before and I personally would say TuneUp Utilities is much more effective... and more computer friendly... Ashampoo WinOptimizer is also computer friendly, however, to fully use the program... It's best for people who are more advance in computer TuneUp Utilities has a complete utility and I been using it ever since 2004... and many changes has been made for the past years... I stop using WinOptimizer after 2.0... So I would not know too much about it... I read some description and it seem pretty good too... But there is no point of having two... So I'll stick with TuneUp Utilities... but I'll upload Ashampoo WinOptimizer if anyone wants it... * I use too much ... Need to get those off... ...

i use zoomplayer to play movie and music .. just install a k-lite codec pack .. i use tuneup xp , ccleaner, diskeeper , avira personal version, adaware .. and also portable software in my thumb drive .. checkout portableapps

Media player can play everything. Just the matter of codec and plug-in that you install. I recommend to try k-lite mega codec. Now my media player classic can play most of the video file include rm, rmvb, avi, mpeg and other. Currently just cannot play real media stream file and ogg file.
