I think that on average, Chinese/Vietnamese people tend to talk very loudly. The other day, when I was on the subway, about 6 Chinese kids got on the train. They were soooo loud & rude! When they got on the train, they ignored the people who were getting off the train & just pushed them aside so they could get on first. Then, when they got on the train, they were talking sooo loudly, I wanted to tell them to tone it down. They were eating & talking with their mouths full & also spitting out food while they were talking. Everybody was staring at them on the train... but they didn't care. When they finally got off the train, they pushed the other people, who were standing by the door waiting to get off the train, aside. I thought it was really rude of them. Of course, there are these types of people in all races. It's a horrible generalization if we were to say that ALL Chinese/Vietnamese people are loud.
People should be considerate when talking in public. You can yell all you want at home, but keep that at home. I can tune people out easily! But they are talking all up in you face, just take a step back, streach back one of your arm, then slap them as hard as you can! I hate it when people talk loud on cell phones. Just because you might be making a long distance call, that doesn't mean you have to shout at the phone as if you are talking long distance without the phone! Catch my drift?? That tiny hole on your cell actually pick up noises quiet nicely!!
Sometimes during summer vacation or other vacations, my mom would always talk on the phone with her sister/mom who live in Taiwan. And sometimes they start arguing about trivial matters and stuff like that & they gossip alot(--, so my mom starts speaking really loud..And stuff..And this is in the morning..and I'm not even awake yet..And it kinda annoys me sometimes -.-
Talking loudly happens now esp. into your mobiles. You think that your friend cannot hear you clearly.Worse is when on the crowded subway during rush hour and the person next to you is doing it and you had a bad day at the office.
