I got CS3 Extended, there isn't a huge change but it's still awesome, totally love it

Disable the Digimarc will only result in speed increase when opening large files, this wont inflict startup times. Photoshop cs3 runs best with loads of ram.

    question question
does it still slow down your system a lot?
and is it like a ten minute start up like CS2 is?

    also are the files huge?

i admit CS2 stuff looks awesome but the wait drove me nutz

The speed of CS3 is about the same as CS2, don't think there are many differences. Depends alot on your CPU and the amount of ram.

    ProjectD VIP yay :]

i think its runs a lot smoother though, but thats just my opinion

    The_Jelly NSFW? :P

It really depends on your computer. Could you post system specs?

What about your CPU?? 512ram... I think wouldn't be worth it

2.8 ghz pentium 4 processor. dunno, cos cs2 works quite quickly on it atm. dunno whether cs3 would slow it down dramatically.

Using CS3 under normal situations should be fine but if you have the extended version of CS3 and you're planning to do animation or 3d with it, your computer might have a hard time.
