I dont think they even collided anything today, just ran a few beams but otherwise, no, no blackholes will occur and swallow us all... stupid media for blowing this out of proportion...
they are just running test beams through the LHC..... they won't collide them just yet, i guess the media is just concerned about when they will collide the beam and it so happens to recreate the big bang..... the particles are suppose to break into smaller pieces basically they want to find out what matter particles are, when matter is created antimatter is also created but antimatter is just the opposite of matter so the opposite of outward force would be an inward force "black hole" if anyone has read angels and demons...... could make more sense, at least in my head it does lol
terrorists dont have to money to do this shit .... but i wonder if worm holes will emerge and different life forma appear and put the human race to extension
well if they are only trying to make a mini big bang which should only create mirco-blackhole that will only last a no more than a few milliseconds the only by product should only be hawkins radiation

^ the scientist that are chosen to even come in contact with this machine are severely screened and checked, CERN is not a pushover hire anyone corporation, it is a group of highly intelligent people with great achievement, the people who built this machine were not your average day construction worker it was a large group of senior level mechanical, computer and electrical engineers.... i can only image the size of their personal generator to even power this machine..... with more crossed PHDs you would ever imagine LOL...... a bit exaggerated but you get hte point
