I don't think internet translators should be used when it involves showing info to the public, for personal use fine but not as public signs, in Japan you got plenty gaijin hungry for work, they would do it on the cheap, besdes how long would it take a person to go over the signs for a partcular company and point out what is wrong with it, thats not even enough to qualify as a part time job in most cases so its still pretty cheap.

from what ive been told by someone working there now, its not really a case of it costng to much, people are just tight with their money, online translators are available and free so everyone uses them whether they be small shops are mega rich companies.

but we all get a laugh out of it i guess.

 

we laugh at them for using wrong english, but i bet they would laugh at us for using their language wrong if we do, like hell during the movie awards where The Departed won the lady announced the movie originated/adapted was from a japanese film, last i checked Infernal Affairs (I think the totally meant Internal) was a HK film...

i wouldn't be surprised if it isn't shopped.... it pisses me off when people kick with their shin, or inside of their feet. because this can happen in real life.

and since most people like UFC kick like that, they all need to go back to learning the basics
