how do you roll sushi with rice inside/out? I always roll rice inside the seaweed. your salmon sushi looked yummy. i can't never make a perfect roll.
^isnt it pretty much the same thing cept u use some clear paper then add the rice then seaweed with the stuff?
MrCooper, that looks amazing. Im sure it taste amazing as well. You make it like you have your own store.. or you're a "See-Fuu"
haha thanks everyone, It's honestly just practice. I watch youtube videos every now and then for tips. when i order sushi out, I sometimes take them apart to see the ratio of fish to seaweed to rice. that helps a lot because you can see the ratio of a professional. To do the inside out (california) roll you'll need: -Sushi rice (seasoned with vinegar, sugar, salt) -Nori Cut in Half -Avocado -Cucumber -Imitation crab meat -Bamboo Sushi Roller wrapped in saran wrap Roll out some rice on the nori. The trick is to use less rice. Flip it upside down on the bamboo sushi roller wrapped in saran wrap (so it doesn't stick). Add filling, roll half way, squeeze, and roll the rest. I like to shape the sushi to be a bit square, so it looks a bit better. Honestly it's all practice, the more you make it, the better it looks. I actually enjoy making sushi more than eating sushi I'm practicing nigiri right now. Nigiri is one of the hardest to make in my opinion. Forming the rice into a square block without having the rice stick to your hand, and without squeezing the rice so it's too solid is VERY hard. Then you also have to learn how to pick the right fish and learn how to cut the fish properly (especially without a proper sushi knife.) It's hard to cut consistent shapes and sizes from one filet of fish. Practice, practice, practice!
Okay i didnt make this .... but i ate it lmao ....... and i didnt feel like there was a need to make a thread about what you ate .. so here
For some reason, US tends to call spring roll egg rolls.. It's weird lol Im with u an i call them spring rolls, an them biscuit rolls is egg rolls xD
Yeah imo its spring rolls but when i say that most people think im talking about the other type so i say eggroll. 2/3 of them are veg (my fav) and the other 1/3 is veg and beef.
