yes i also foresee that problem aswell... cuz ferdinand and vidic are quite dynamic and come up a lot... so my hope is that Brown/Neville and Hargreaves play a more defensive minded role in this formation... the reason I even suggested this formation as possible for Barca was because they had incredible defensive capabilities... I also respect ManU's back line quite a bit so i offer the same formation... the only weaklink on defense i personally feel is Evra, but he has pace so it can be made up... if u need more security, u can always pull Tevez and move Rooney up and stick Carrick and Hargreaves just slightly back more and push Scholes a little forward... Scholes can still score afterall ;)

well the biggest prob is who gonna replace vidic or ferdinand adequately if one of them gets injured :S but with tevez rooninho + dimi it´s too offensive,... and wth??? dun ya dare forget giggs !

i have to say... that is the most amazing part about ManU so far... Ferdinand and Vidic not getting injured the last 2 seasons... they haven't rly missed many games...

brown and o'shea can play anywhere in the back 4... although not great... they're good utility and veteran players... well... o'shea can be a bit lost at times though haha ;)

well manU also bought a brazilian twinpair, they´re both defenders xD maybe they´ll end up as manU´s twintowers in the future ^^ well saha wasn´t that bad,... but he didn´t hit it big at old trafford like smitheeee, and he had a lot of bad luck ;)

the brazilian twins are full backs so they obviously cant replace Vidic or fredinand... Pique was decent at centre back , i fort he wud be the one who can replace ferdinand or vidic bt he gt sold back to barca..

nt sure if Jonny Evans is still on loan at sunderland or actually sold to them .. hes quite good too

Saha was SUPERRRR!!! until injuries hit him and sidelined him too much .. tried to come back bt looked crap ... bt hope him does well in everton

I don't agree with you. Saha is a very very good player just he had a lot of injuries. Lets see what Bertatov could do this Saturday against Liverpool and next week against Chelsea.

if rio and vidic gets injured then man u is in trouble, only oshea to back up
oshea is not really a natural centre back he plays better on the left, if rio and vidic is injured i can only think of this backline

    Evra----Oshea---Brown----Neville

for extra defensive backup then its obvious Evans and the 2 Brazilian brothers to step up the fight, if we do play that kinder back line, we defo need hargreaves to be 100% allert front of the back 4, therefore we bascially lost one midfielder making it hard for man u too attack

Bad day for Man U lost to Liverpool and the other top teams won. I know Man U did not play well but Liverpool needed a Man U own goal to win the game.

    Man U 1-1 Chelsea!
Man City 6-0 Portsmouth... wow, that's shocking, Portsmouth are a decent side as well.
