they need a striker who can play upfront on his own. i cant see them changing the same tactics they used last year which was effective

MU is going to get Wigan's Antonio Valencia for Ronaldo's place. Macheda can take on Tevez's place. Actually, MU do not need to buy any player. Leave the rest to the young players in MU, they perform quite well in FA Cup last seson. A new team will be transformed to help MU secure the 2009/2010 EPL crown.

you're probably right. Macheda needs more games though and he wont have the experience Tevez has. still need a striker who can score goals. none of our players are natural goalscorers

it's very hard to find replacement for them especially ronaldo who score an average of 40 goals per season. without him n now without tevez, MU could lose some firepower in front of the goal. berbatov could stil take on tevez place thou his performance was not good last season. berbatov would b better in tis new season. btw, MU has had 80 million pounds to splash, someone suitable gotta b there. for me, Ferguson shud not rush to buy new player but to observe n discover new talent like wat he did in previous yrs in producing star players like David Beckham n Christiano Ronaldo.

Luis Antonio Valencia has passed a medical and will complete a £16million move to United today, taking over Cristiano Ronaldo's number seven shirt. Surely a big pressure on him.
A hefty n unreasonable price on him but Ferguson's choice is owez right. Let us witness a new star player is born in MU.
16 million pounds was used up on Valencia from the 80 million pounds gain from Ronaldo's sale. Now MU would gonna buy another 3rd striker to replace Tevez thou MU could use their young players...

I saw Valencia played against MU last season. Don't think he is someone that can take over the no. 7 jersey. Maybe time will prove. There is also a rumour in Teamtalk saying that MU is closes to sign Benzema from Lyon. Hope that MU can as he is a rising star.

we got Valencia, lets see what he can do in a better team. But we wont be getting Benzema according to the BBC. Lyon confirmed its Real Madrid

Benzema had confirmed heading towards big spending Real Madrid on 41 million euros transfer fee. Looks like Real Madrid is going to offload a lot of players including Ruud van Nistelrooy. Could MU get him back on a free transfer? It could b a wise choice to replace Tevez temporarily

suprisingly .. Michael Owen has been tippped to join Man United for FREE if the medical analysis goes well O_0

i doubt RVN wud come back to United since that bust up with Ronaaldo and Ferguson backed Ronnie.. plus Huntelaar wud ideal as he is younger than RVN

i am a man utd fan as this is where i live however next season i am not to sure abour our hopes as we have lost a lot of good players and many good players have moved clubs. I am not sure what the manager is trying to achieve by signing michael owen as his injury record is terrible, i never liked the player and never will. Not sure how he is going to play at his best for man u when he has strong ties with liverpool.

owen confirmed join MU on free transfer. never tot he'd join MU since he's a great fan of Liverpool since small n a great striker too. i admired owen's great form during his times in liverpool n i think tat time's owen is better than rooney. hope he will recover from his injury swiftly n prevent 'missing in action' scenario again.
argh! i reli hope Ruud van Nistelrooy could b back to MU as he's a great goalscorer even in Spain's Real Madrid.
i think Ferguson just need a player to replace Tevez to play in the FA Cup nex season n to back up Berbatov n Rooney's place if they r injured o serve bookings n tat's owen! btw, Ferguson says he's paying owen based on how many fixtures he played in, mayb he's hinting at fully using his young strikers...

i din heard tat MU is interested in Spain's David Villa but MU is interested in Spain's Liverpool Fernando Torres but the latter rubbished the possibilities of it.
benzema shud hv join MU if Real Madrid didn't show interested in him. he says he purposely dismiss his plans to join MU cos of history, Real won n achieve more than MU

With the summer signings of Michael Owen n Luis Antonio Valencia, MU's have hardly captured the imagination of their worldwide fanbase.
Now, MU signed Gabriel Obertan from French 1st Ligue side, Bordeaux with just £3 million transfer fee. Can Valencia n Obertan emulate Christiano Ronaldo's achievements under United's tutelage? If they r at the finest form like Ronaldo, will Real Madrid after them with big money again!?
