Private tuitions

    Tuition = the money you pay for your education

    Tutoring = one on one academic assistance.

    just wanted to clear that up

    in some way,yes but not every person is like this..i know some friends who are very intelligent(last degree) + are in a very good school but takes 2 tuitions in the same subject just to have the big scholarship.


    ya,too bad we don't really have tutoring here,just tuitions

    ya..sometimes i feel sorry for ur parents giving birth to a hopeless whatever u are hahahaahha

    nooooo..i tell my parents that i don't want tutor but they dont listen and just forces me and my bro..its the asian thing....do everything u can for son's education but not knowing children cannot b forced...and i live in downtown i had to go to scarborough to tutor....and sat 9-12...
    i unno...i keep tellign my mom i blame her for wat i do nowadays its her fault for forcing me and yaa

    lol my aunt lives in scarborough... what do you mean 'downtown' toronto.. do you live in an apartment?

    ^but its true. i went to gifted school from junior high thru high school. it did crap for me once i got to uni. if anything, it just made it worse cause i was all like, "i'll be fine, i'm a genius" what a load of crap.
    parents just want to make their children into geniuses when they aren't. cruel but reality. another thing, especially with asian parents, it's just a face thing, "my kid goes to private school or gets special education" blah blah blah.

    haha,are you also referring to tuitions or tutoring?if you,you are telling that the students (including me and almost everyone in mauritius) that take tuitions are dumb

    that's not fair...anything is possible...it's really more effective if you know your kid is too shy to ask questions themselves...teachers really should think of a way of combatting such a problem!!!

    ya i agree on the shy part. I nv ask in class so privae tution does help. But i suppose if u do consult the teacher and do ur own revision regularly u dun haf to waste ur parents money to hire a private tutors.

    Lols..im givin tution currently which is so contridicting myself
