If you buy the PS2 adaptor, do you have to play a monthly fee to play online?

 

nope, u jus need broadband and a network adaptor

ok since u r using a router, u can buy another ethernet cable and plug it into your router and ps2

 

although it has been said to be free, you will come across the occasional game which require a monthly fee but these are generally MMORPGs such as Final Fantasy XI.

 

oh yeah, forgot about that game

ff 11 does needs monthly fee, its on all formats, eg pc as well not jus ps2

but most are free

the actual connection thing with ps2 online is free
