hmm i dont got much comment in this besides from when they say they dont need a gift and ur enough for them that prolly means that what ever u get for them they will love it because u gave it to them and thats all that matters the "you" part in the gift also wif the roses i got something better for u to say lol u coulda said Man: hey i picked out some roses for you Women: but doesnt that mean that our love will die?(or sumthing about them withering) Man: no these roses represent the love i have for you Women: er so ur love will die? Man: my love wont die but my body will, Just like these roses, when they die they will dry up and will always be der and when my body dies and i become dust my love will always be der for you...(you know when u have roses for a while to turn them upside down when they begin to die and then they will dry up and u can keep them for ages )
sorry didn't read all the replies, but to answer the Q... for me, when i say i don't want gifts, it means... i don't want you to waste a hell lot of money, BUT i do want a gift =D its the thought that counts! =] =] it can just mean, a day out, and stuff or even DIY... ^^
^hahah oh my god!!! i did though (asked a homegirl of mine what i should get n she brings me to tiffanys every time!!!) stuff theres not bad... decent quality at decent prices .... cheaper than my last gift though ( my last gift i got my girl a puppy for her bday... cost fuc*ing 1200)
^ your kidding right .... even my lil brothers gives better gifts than tiffanys..... tiffanys is a last resort when u cant think of anything...... cus u can always get a necklace.... then next time ur in trouble.... earrings ... n then next time ..... tennis bracelet... n so one.. they have so much stuff ull never hafta worry..... plus... money aint a thang....
