it not because were racist, and it' not becuz they have bad breath./.....it's due to the events and reports from news, how it's always black ppl ending up doing all sorts of crimes, that we get a bad impression of them, so we discriminate against them....
Put together ALL crime done by blacks, do a statistics of monetary loss and life loss (killing or whatnot). It is still incomparable to the monetary and life loss due to crimes committed by whites. Media surely is racist -whistle And the ignorant public is just willing to buy into the "big bad Blacks" stereotypes and unwilling to see through the facade of the "good ol' Uncle Sam just cheated you out of your life's saving"...
lol, atleast we can be racist, white ppl in america get dirty looks if they appear to be racist cuz of all that KKK stuff that went on.
Racists DESERVE all the dirty looks in the world... I don't agree with the attitude that "well, a little bit racist doesn't hurt". Racism, big and small, hurts beyond belief. And I believe in Karma, those who is racist, even racist in the tiniest bit, DESERVES to be racist/discriminated against. A taste of his own medicine... -devil
i rememeber with huricane catrina the media presented blacks and whites in a very different light. i remember seeing a picture showing a black person looting food, and the same media company later showed a white person doing the same but instaed of saying 'looting' they said 'finding food to survive', that says it all really. ^ besides that ii totally agree with you and hiake, so much so that there really isnt anything left for me to say....
Don't even get me started on Katrina coverage... I found it most discerning that some TV evangelists DARE announcing that it's a punishment of God to warn the wonton activities engaged in New Orleans (Mardi Gras or whatnot)... While like 99% of those who suffers are black and the whites are off to safety because they can afford to evacuate... I guess these brainless TV evangelists are part of the root cause to my adversion to religions... Idiocy like that is credibility disaster...
Not to mention they are dragging the name of religion(s) through the mud... SIGH Even though I am not religious or anything, I think the bad reputation they brought about is just unfair to the rest...
That upsets me also when "Christians" use natural disaster as an excuse of God punishing the world. God commanded us to love our neighbors, while they are promoting God as a vengeful one. I wish that they could just shut up and think about their own "holy" life before judging others. -shoot
Ah..but ignorance is so blissfully bliss....what more can we expect from those that use religion to do their own bidding...but then again..is it really ignorance...or a promotion of a specific belief that they see as above the rest...and the rest who are non believers...shall be judged...
Same here... It's one thing to be skeptical to the religion (Christianity or others) and it's another to see the doctrine being twisted to fit their ends... <_< Ignorance is bliss so long as it doesn't incriminate oneself. Being subjected to racist comments (or actions) due to ignorance may not be as blissful as it gets. I found people who readily swallow up whatever excuse those TV evangelist feed them disturbing and, sorry to say, brainless. I know what you are talking about... But I also know it is unlikely that it's a conspiracy, the meterology pattern made sense, even though the resulting storm doesn't... I attribute the lack of predictability to rising sea level (more moisture = more severe storms)
lol wind, i think the guy is saying he was born racist since his race has separated him from everyone who is not of the same race as him (i hate the term race, i rather say ethnicity, unless your a alien). yeah hiake i think ur correct concerning the weather patterns, im sure bush was told about it before it happened but he did nothing. he prolly spent the night reading a nursery book upside down, twin tower style
